Hello! Welcome to Adair County Middle School! I am Lachana Scholl, and I am happy to be the counselor here at ACMS. I started my career in education in 2008 as a middle school Language Arts & Social Sciences teacher upon receiving my bachelor’s degree.  I earned my master’s degree in Middle Grades Language Arts & Social Studies in 2013 and my Rank I in P-12 Professional School Counseling in 2020.  I have spent 7 years as a 6th and 8th grade teacher at ACMS. 

As we embark on a new school year, I look forward to getting to know our students and their families.  Throughout the year, I will be available for individual and small group counseling, and social/emotional learning sessions, as well as to assist with student academic success and future college and career planning.
